Linhai Song got his PhD from Computer Sciences department of University of Wisconsin-Madison.
During PhD study, Linhai was fortunately supervised by Professor Shan Lu from University of Chicago to do research on software performance and reliability.

Linhai got a computer science master degree during his Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Before his PhD study, Linhai got a computer science master degree from Institute of Computing Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010,
and a software engineering degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2007.

Linhai has 7 co-author papers published in top conference during his PhD, and he has another paper under submission.
Linhai's co-author papers won MICRO'2014 best paper runner up, and an ACM-SIGPLAN Research Highlight Award in 2011.
